Position - Rebar Estimator
At ZED REBARS, our Rebar Estimators specialize in providing accurate quantity take-offs directly from structural drawings. As a Rebar Estimator, you will prepare precise rebar estimates, bar lists, and reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
You will work closely with clients, project managers, and the detailing team to deliver reliable, cost-effective estimates for a wide range of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Prepare detailed rebar quantity take-offs (weights, bar marks, and accessories).
- Generate bar lists and estimation reports in compliance with CRSI/ACI standards.
- Analyze project specifications to ensure accurate and code-compliant estimates.
- Collaborate with the detailing team to align estimates with shop drawings.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to clarify scope and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure estimates are delivered with accuracy and efficiency within deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
- B.E. in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in rebar estimation.
- Strong knowledge of rebar standards and placement practices.
- Familiarity with estimating tools/software (e.g., aSa).
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
